Agnes • Second Month: March 2015
Agnes takes a break from tummy time.
Agnes reached the six week marker this month, so we started taking her out to some of our favorite restaurants. She visited my class at the Moscow Yoga Center and ate at Mikey's Gyros afterwards, and she had lunch with my friend Leeann at Swilly's, the fanciest restaurant in Pullman. She also took her first hike on Moscow Mountain, making it through the whole Headwaters Loop with only one pit stop, which was unfortunately on a rather steep slope. By the end of the month she weighed almost 9 pounds and grew several inches, but her head circumference was only in the 83rd percentile. Maybe she is part Carlson after all (our heads are big, but not Becker Big). She also enjoyed a weekend visit from her Uncle Andrew and Aunt Claudette from Denver. We took them to Kamiak Butte and they bought us a bike trailer so Agnes can start going longer distances on the trail by our house.
